REGISTRATION INFORMATION

A registration form along with the non-refundable registration fee will be collected upon enrollment. The first monthly payment is due upon registration.

Registration Fees:
• New Students*************$30.00 per person or $40.00 per family.
• Returning Students*********$15.00 per person or $25.00 per family.

Checks should be made payable to Dixon Dance Studio.

Monthly Tuition:
Tuition is paid on a monthly basis. Tuition is due by the 1st of each month. A 7 day grace period is allowed before a $10.00 late fee is applied. Tuition is based on a four week month. Five week months cover any holidays taken by the staff.


Refunds/Pro-Rating:
Refunds are not given for tuition. In the event the student needs to withdraw early, a cancellation class form must be completed to close the account thereby preventing further billing. A student’s absenteeism does not affect tuition payments. Accounts will only be closed with a cancellation class form and will go into affect from the date received.


Return Check Fee:
A $25.00 fee will added to all returned checks.


Drop Class:
To drop from the studio, a full 30-day written notice must be turned into the office. Class changes of any kind must be recorded in our office on a Drop Class Form with the parent's signature or a written notice must be sent to the studio

 

DANCE/ATTENDANCE POLICIES

Dance Classes:
Students are expected to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class. Please make sure you are on time to class. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will not be allowed to dance. This is for our safety as well as the students, to ensure no injuries are sustained. All children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of their class, no exceptions.

Missed Class:
Students who will be absent from class must provide staff with notice to receive a make-up class. Students have 6 months from the date of the absence to make-up their class. Refunds or credits will not be given.

Cancelled Class:
In the unusual event that a class is cancelled by the staff, make-up classes or make-up times will be offered to the students. No credits or refunds will be given
.

Dance Wear:
All students must wear something comfortable and easy to move in. We require all students have a leotard under their clothing. Absolutely no street clothes or street shoes allowed. Hair must be off the face either pulled back or in a ponytail.

Video & Photo Policy
There is NO videotaping or photography during regular weekly classes. Photos will be allowed with the prior permission of the teacher ONLY.


Dancers’ Etiquette
Respect for your teacher and fellow classmates is the number one lesson in dance class. Teachers may ask students to wait in the lobby if they are being disruptive or disrespectful.
Students should not correct each other. Students should come to class with a positive attitude, ready to dance!


Safety
Students of all ages should be walked into the dance studio by their parent or chaperone. If they are to go home with someone other than the person who dropped them off, please let the teacher or office
manager on duty know when they are dropped off.

Parents should arrive to pick up their child BEFORE the class ends. Students should be picked up on time and should not be left in the lobby. Please make sure your child knows not to leave the studio without you.

Please come into the studio to pick up your child. Students (of any age) will not be allowed to wait outside for their ride.
